EXPERIENCED LEADER
-Elected Lieutenant Governor in November of 2011 with 80% of the vote.
-Served as Mississippi’s first Republican Treasurer, winning re-election in 2007 with 61% of the vote, the largest percentage of any candidate for statewide office.
-Elected by the nation’s other state Treasurers to serve as President of the National Association of State Treasurers in 2006 – 2007.

PROVEN FISCAL CONSERVATIVE
-Graduated with Honors from Millsaps College with a degree in Economics.
-Earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and worked in the private sector managing investment funds.
